Fairy Princess Concept

In mid-May, Kenzie came to me bustling about an idea she had for a photo shoot that we could do together. She proposed that the photos should be fairy-themed. With the seed of inspiration placed, I took her offer up.

We began by trying to find the right dress, which in the end wasn’t too hard of a job. After finding the dress I began to conceptualize what I wanted the theme and feel of this shoot to be. In the early stages, I thought of taking a more fantasy-based approach. But this changed when I remembered about fairy princesses.

In my eyes, this photoshoot is about the rebel inside of us that wants to explore and take risks. Kenzie is playing a princess that becomes sick of the repetitiveness and uneventful life she leads in the castle, so she runs away to the forest. She gains the title of fairy princess and lives on continuously exploring and embracing nature.
